On Dirk Nowitzki's 1000th career game, he ironically plays against his longtime teammate Steve Nash. The Mavericks offense was very hot tonight against the Suns. Mr. Nowitzki man had an impressive performance tonight with 20 points, 6 rebounds, and 7 assists. The bench two games in a row carried a good load of the points scoring 51 points. Lamar Odom who I was starting to believe might be a bust scored a season high 15 points. Jason Terry was very hot in shooting three pointers this game. He made 5 field goals from the three point range. Terry had 18 points including 9 in just in the fourth quarter. Overall a great game played for the Mavericks in Dirk's 1000th career game. The Mavericks will take on the Spurs tomorrow night in San Antonio. The Spurs chances could be hurt without Manu Ginobili in the lineup who is expected to be out for two months due to surgery on his broken hand. Though you can still expect a good game as usual between the two basketball squads.
