Mavericks Win Round 2 Against Thunder.

This was a very impressive win for the Mavericks tonight. The Mavericks handed the Oklahoma City Thunder their first loss of the season by a score of 100 to 87. There really isn’t anything negative to say about the Mavs tonight. The bench had better scoring than the Thunder’s bench. The Mavericks bench contributed 47 points on the night compared to the Thunder’s bench only contributing 25 points. Newcomers Lamar Odom and Vince Carter looked pretty impressive combining for 22 points off the bench. Dirk Nowitzki though was the top performer of the night getting 6 rebounds with 26 points on the night. Games like these show that it is possible for the Mavericks to come together to beat the tougher opponents in the NBA. The Mavericks next game will be Wednesday at home against the Phoenix Suns. I believe if they can get a win against the Suns, then that could start a winning streak that’s needed for the Mavs to have success.
