Stars Fall Short to Red Wings 5-4

Stars fall just short of an impressive comeback against the Detroit Red Wings. The Star player I've been very impressed with lately would be Michael Ryder. Ryder on the night helped out getting 3 points with 2 goals and 1 assist. Jamie Benn as well had 3 points from 1 goal and 2 assists. Jordie Benn who is Jamie's older brother made his NHL debut with an assist in his first game. This game had a lot of shots on goal between the two teams. Unfortunately, Kari Lehtonen didn't seem to play up to his standard as goal tender. There were a couple of goals that should've been stopped. It looks like Lehtonen is still trying to find his stride again playing between the pipes. Kari is an awesome goal tender, and he will get back in the swing of things in probably the next few games. The Stars next game will be in Nashville against the Predators on Thursday night. The puck drop is scheduled for 7:00 central time.
