Stars take down the Predators 4-1

It is games like these that shows when the offense is hot, and the goalie is healthy the Stars can be a threat for the Pacific Division. Mike Ribeiro looked pretty good scoring 2 goals with only 3 shots on goal. This was before he took a puck to the face late in the 2nd period. Other Stars that looked good were Jamie Benn who seems to always get a goal, Loui Eriksson with two assists, and Kari Lehtonen who looked quite impressive in between the pipes 24 saves on 25 shots faced with a .960 save percentage. The Stars will be playing in a rare matinee game when they welcome their Western Conference rivals the Edmonton Oilers. Anytime these two teams face off with one another you just know it will be a rough game full of players asking for the ice packs. The puck drop is scheduled for noon at the American Airlines Center.
